The staff at RiverWest Dental are amazing!! They will work for you in anyway that they can. They literally bent over backwards to help me get my flipper in, and the best part is no one knows it's there. Bonus!! Thanks! Signed, One Completely Satisfied Customer!"

I drove a couple of hours to get to an appointment, cause I had a broken tooth. They x-rayed and confirmed it; however, they didn't have time to fill it. Nonetheless, I was frustrated after driving and taking a day off from work. After I left, they called almost immediately and asked if I could come back due to cancellation. They fixed me up, and I do appreciate the efforts. Thank you!!!! Awesomeness!!

Was traveling through the area and visiting family when I needed a tooth extracted. We were only scheduled to be in town for another week and not only were they able to accommodate me - they had me in the next day! One week later we are continuing with our trip and I am pain free! If you are looking for a great dental practice, these are the folks to call!

Get the Brighter, Confident Smile You Deserve

Feel More Confident

A brighter smile can make a big difference in how you feel about yourself. Whether you're meeting someone new or just chatting with friends, a whiter smile helps you feel more confident and ready to take on the world.

Look Younger

Over time, teeth naturally lose their brightness. Whitening your teeth is one of the easiest ways to refresh your appearance and regain a more youthful look. A bright smile can make you look and feel younger.

Make a Great First Impression

Your smile is often the first thing people notice. Whiter teeth can help you make a positive impression in any situation, from job interviews to casual meetups, giving you an edge in social and professional interactions.

What Causes Tooth Discoloration?

There are several reasons teeth may become discolored, and understanding what’s causing the staining helps us create the most effective whitening plan for you:

  • Coffee, Tea, and Wine: These beverages can lead to surface stains on your teeth, dulling their appearance.
  • Tobacco Use: Smoking or chewing tobacco can cause deep stains that are harder to remove with over-the-counter products.
  • Aging: As we age, our teeth naturally become duller and more yellow due to wear and tear.
  • Certain Medications: Some medications can cause internal discoloration of your teeth.

Whatever the cause, our professional whitening treatments can address these issues and restore your smile to a brighter, more youthful shade.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between professional and over-the-counter whitening?

Professional whitening uses stronger agents and custom trays, providing faster, more consistent results under the supervision of your dentist. Over-the-counter products may not deliver the same level of effectiveness and can sometimes cause uneven results or sensitivity.

Does teeth whitening damage enamel?

When performed correctly, professional teeth whitening does not damage tooth enamel. Our whitening treatments are designed to be safe and gentle while effectively brightening your smile.

How can I maintain my whitening results?

To keep your smile bright, we recommend regular dental cleanings, practicing good oral hygiene, and avoiding foods and drinks that stain teeth, such as coffee, red wine, and tobacco.

What causes teeth to yellow?

Teeth can yellow due to a variety of factors, including aging, consuming staining foods and drinks (like coffee, tea, and wine), tobacco use, and certain medications. Whitening treatments can help address these common causes of discoloration.

Can everyone get their teeth whitened?

While most patients are great candidates for teeth whitening, we will evaluate your oral health and discuss any concerns before moving forward to ensure whitening is appropriate for you.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

No, there’s typically no downtime after your whitening treatment. However, some patients may experience temporary sensitivity, which usually fades within a few hours to a day.

Will insurance cover teeth whitening?

Most dental insurance plans do not cover cosmetic procedures like teeth whitening. However, we offer financing options and payment plans to make professional whitening more affordable for you.

How long do the results of teeth whitening last?

With proper care, results from professional whitening can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Maintaining good oral hygiene and regular cleanings will help keep your smile looking bright for longer.

Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes, professional teeth whitening is safe when done under dental supervision. Our experienced team ensures your teeth and gums are protected throughout the treatment, giving you safe, effective results.

How long does professional teeth whitening take?

Whitening treatments typically take 60-90 minutes, providing fast, noticeable results. For take-home treatments, you'll wear custom trays daily for 1-2 weeks, gradually achieving your desired level of whiteness at your convenience.
